Hi! I’m Todd, the owner of Business Tech BFF!

I started Business Tech BFF because I wanted to help creative small businesses and entrepreneurs like you put technology to work for your business so you can focus on your clients.

I've spent my entire life as a technology enthusiast, building computers, tinkering with robots, and training friends and family to use their devices and applications.

In addition to expertise in working with existing web applications, I'm also proficient in nearly a dozen programming languages including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, jQuery, PHP, C#, PowerShell, Apple Script, and Swift.

I have an MFA in Creative Producing and Management from California Institute of the Arts, where my studies were focused on blurring the line between art and technology.

In my free time, you'll find me playing board games, escape rooms, or the latest entry in the Assassin's Creed video game franchise.

Favorite Web Apps: Airtable, Zapier Functions, Todoist, and ChatGPT

Favorite Desktop Apps: Visual Studio Code (for writing code), Adobe Illustrator, and Loom (which is actually more of a web app, but I primarily use their desktop app)

Favorite Mobile Apps: NYT Games, YNAB, Facebook, Reddit

Favorite Gadget / Device: Stream Deck or ReMarkable Tablet

Mac or PC? I've been a huge Apple fanboy since 2008 (but I also keep a copy of Windows as a virtual machine on my Mac - just upgraded to an M4 Pro Mac Mini in November 2024)
